Integrated Tactical Firearms Training

Firearms skills in the Close Protection environment is constantly debated due to British law not allowing their carry for protection.

However, not to have firearms experience may limit your capability to perform Close Protection duties outside the UK. The reality is that many CPO’s gain employment abroad and contracts are generally given based on the operators experience and training background. Our system of firearms training is based directly on a Close Protection role.

Moreover, the system is based on the actual needs in a close quarter encounter, instead of a series of techniques designed to pass a qualification test. Nearly everything taught in this system of instinctive point shooting flies in the face of all other systems taught today. It is based on the study of empirical evidence from real violent encounters and builds on the body's natural reaction to an attack  - at the ranges that real gun fights typically occur.

“The system is based on the actual needs
in a close quarter encounter.”

The methods taught in this course are expressed in the book ‘Kill or get Killed’ by Col Rex Applegate. In the book he wrote...

“Does he take up the trigger slack and squeeze off the shot as he has been taught to do in target shooting? Will he make sure that his feet are properly positioned and that he is breathing correctly? He certainly will not! He will grip his gun convulsively, raise it, point or shove it in the general direction of the enemy and pull (not squeeze) the trigger. That is the natural, instinctive thing to do.”

Our system maximises your learning potential. This enhances the quality of the training time. It has been proved time and again that candidates become proficient in a very short time utilising this method.
